B.A. 2001, Psychology, Drury University, Springfield, MO
My first experience in the field of psychology began with an internship in a children’s psychiatric hospital, where I worked for two years. My first research experience was in a neuropsychology lab at the University of Florida. At UF, I was involved with language studies using fMRI. Currently, I’m finishing my masters in clinical psychology at SDSU in the Brain Development Imaging Lab. My thesis project is an fMRI study comparing developmental differences in language acquisition. At LCN I am a full-time research assistant in charge of participant recruitment and outreach. I am the primary contact for families Additionally, I’m involved in programming experimental studies, neuropsychological testing, psychophysiological testing, and potentially running MRI studies.
